Building Talent; Enhancing Employability of young artists

The Smile of the Child in collaboration with three other European countries is implementing the project entitled “Building Talent; Enhancing Employability of young artists” funded by the Creative Europe Programme. The project has 24 months duration (from 1.06.2022 till 31.05.2024) and aims to boost the employability of youth in the cultural sector through transnational cooperation and knowledge transfer from the participated countries, which will be achieved through learning tools that will enable them to access new learning paths and practices. The project has a European dimension with partners from 4 countries:

  • MAKSLAS CENTRS NOASS – LEAD PARTNER (LV)
  • CREAD (BE)
  • INSTITUTE OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT (GR)
  • THE SMILE OF THE CHILD (GR)

The project’s objectives include:

  1. Increase the employability of young artists by enforcing them with skills to address the art world market reality.

  2. Highlight the importance that art and the “Culture and Creative Sector” (CCS) have on the local and European economy.

  3. Support the art world professionals and further diffuse their work to younger generations.

  4. Enhance experts inside knowledge sharing on innovative aspects and the current needs of the work in the CCS.
