e-Safety, e-Creativity Network for Teachers, Parents & Guardians

The aim of the project is to create a network of Teachers, Parents and Caregivers that will guide, support and empower children aged 10-12 years old in their digital interactions and more specifically regarding the issues of Internet Addiction and Cyberbullying. This includes not only providing educational tools for children but also enhancing the digital readiness and counselling skills of adults. The creation of an e-Counseling Center caters to a variety of learning preferences, offering everything from engaging animated videos for children to theory guides and expert videos for adults. Whether through live training sessions, consultations with experts or participation in a live peer-to-peer community, adults can feel confident that they will enhance their digital skills to effectively respond to today's digital challenges and online risks faced by children.

 

More specifically, the project includes the following activities:

  1. Creation of interactive digital educational material for teachers, parents, guardians and professionals (Interactive Animation, Interactive Videos, Gamification etc) using the distance learning methodology,
  2. Creation of an online learning environment for parents, guardians, teachers and professionals (e-learning)
  3. Design and implementation of a training programme (blended learning) offering high quality, flexible learning opportunities in an experiential way for adults,
  4. Creation of an e-Counseling Center for the support of Digital Readiness and the cultivation of Digital Competences for professionals, teachers and parents/carers.
