MISSING ALERT HELLAS
Coordinating Program with timely and valid notification for missing adults at risk
«The Smile of the Child » has undersigned a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Ministry of Citizen Protection, according which their cooperation has been extended to missing adults at risk, aged from 18 to 65 years old. «The Smile of the Child» now proceeds with the activation of MISSING ALERT HELLAS, for the cases of missing adults, who are at risk, (mental deprivation, psychological problems, etc.) may be reported missing after accidents and natural disasters, (fire, earthquake, shipwreck, landslides, floods, etc.) deal with serious health problems and/or are in need to stay on medication (orientation problems, psychological problems, suicidal tendencies, mental deprivation, etc.)
The MISSING ALERT HELLAS program will provide direct, valid and detailed information to citizens about the disappearance of an adult, if such case has been reported to the Authorities or "The Smile of the Child".
The successful outcome depends on the cooperation of many Organizations – state, private and voluntary - with each of them communicating the data of the missing adult and other important information through their available channels, e.g. TV spot.
